Trivium's Matt Heafy tells about "Temple Of Shadows" and Edu Falaschi

In a recent interview for Metal Hammer Magazine, the lead singer and guitarist from American Thrash metal band Trivium, Matt Heafy, tells what his top ten essential metal are.

Among several bands cited, such as Nevermore, Death, Machine Head, the frontman of the band chose the album "Temple Of Shadows" from Angra, as one of his favorite albums, even if he is "not super into power metal but Angra’s Temple Of Shadows should be in there. There is something special about this record. All the musicians are amazing players in their own right – the vocalist has a range like no other I’ve heard – but the thing is that not only can they all really play, they can write great music, which is rare amongst virtuoso players."
