From MS Metal Press :
Gil Vasconcelos, the guitarist of the band Still Alive from Rio de Janeiro, released an official statement regarding the end of their work in the studio with the producer Edu Falaschi (Symbols, Almah, Artemis), which together recorded the album "Kyo".
The album, currently in mixing and mastering process, will be launched in the first half of this year in Brazil. "Once we finished all the recordings sessions, it is the time to begin mix and mastering, which will be done by Brenan Duffey and Adriano Daga and coordinated by the producer Edu Falaschi. By the end of April, the CD will be completely ready, including the artwork cover, which are already being drawn up by Felipe Machado Franco (blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Rhapsody Of Fire, ect).
In listening to the tracks not mixed yet, we are impressed by the quality and grandeur that the album is taking. It's amazing how all the lyrics, concepts, artwork, fit perfectly with the songs. We realize the harmony of the band, as each instrument is perfectly integrated into the whole process. It's the result of great effort and sacrifice of the band, I think the result will be very sincere and moving.
At the same time, we are already planning the launch of a single online on May, which will be the first contact of the public with "Kyo", and scheduling some shows for the album release in July of this year. We are very anxious to do what we like best : playing live our music and entertain people with a true "Heavy Metal" show", said Gil Vasconcelos.
Still Alive has begun to schedule shows for the launching of his album "Kyo", which will be out in the first half of this year in Brazil.
