** News of the month :
- Edu Falaschi, elected best singer of 2010 by Roadie Crew Magazine : Edu Falaschi is the best vocalist in Brazil in 2010, this is the opinion of the readers of one of the most important rock&metal media in the native country of the musician, Roadie Crew. The result of the voting is revealed in March issue of the magazine and it marks the absolute succes of the singer in 2010: besides the Best National Singer award, the latest CD with Edu Falaschi, “Aqua” of Angra is recognized as the Best National Album of the year, and Angra itself – as the Best National Band in 2010.
The last year became very important for the singer’s career. No wonder, in 2010 Edu Falaschi released worlwide the 7th album with Angra, Aqua after 5-years break and completed the first part of Aqua World Tour including shows in Brazil, Japan (Loud Park) and Taiwan. Also, Edu took part in various projects, such as Soulspell Metal Opera album/tour and in the recording of a song defending animals organized by ANDA (The News Agency of Animal Rights) together with a few big Brazilian popular music stars. The musician made a few other important guest apperances in the studio and live from acoustic club shows to big anime events, he produced a few CDs of Brazilian bands, participated in important national TV programs and finished Fragile Equality tour with his another band, Almah.

“Pandemonium Over South America 2011” tour has 6 announced dates and it will start on April, 7 in Chile. Edu Falaschi will share the stage in São Paulo with such great singers as Fabio Lione (Rhapsody of Fire), Simone Simons (Epica) and Elyze Ryd (Amaranthe) who will help Kamelot in this tour during the temporary absence of the permanent vocalist Roy Khan.
According to Edu Falaschi : “It’s a lot of honor for me to sing on one stage with my friend Casey Grillo from Kamelot making this new tour without their vocalist Roy Khan who is temporarily absent! Today the band counts on a great singer Fabio Lione who helps them at this difficult moment. They called me to take part in this show in my home city, São Paulo! It’s clear that I immediately said “yes”! We are talking about Kamelot! One of my favorites metal bands ever! For those who don’t know, Casey recorded the drum parts for the first Almah’s CD in 2006 and since then we have become friends even more. And especially due to this fact I will do my best in order to give to all Kamelot fans an unforgettable night! See you there soon!”
- Edu Falaschi / Almah are back with a new album in 2011 : Edu Falaschi and his band Almah enter the Norcal Studios in São Paulo on 2th of May to record the material for their long awaited 3rd album, the follow-up of successful Fragile Equality (2008). The line-up remains the same :
- Edu Falaschi - vocals, Felipe Andreoli - bass, Marcelo Barbosa - guitars, Paulo Schroeber - guitars, Marcelo Moreira - drums.
The album, as-yet-untitled, is planed to be released in September 2011 worldwide.
"I’m very happy with Almah’s comeback in 2011, first of all, because this third CD should consolidade Almah as a band once and for all!!! This album will show you a mature band and it will define the individuality and language of our sound, which is the most important thing! I’m very exctited to launch it soon!" Edu Falaschi.
- Edu Falaschi, message to Japan : Following the disaster in Japan, Edu Falaschi has sent amessage of support to his Japanese fans:
"After 10 days I still have no words to express all this pain that I have in my heart!
But at the same time I feel that I must try in any way to help the people that I love and respect so much!
My daughter has Japanese blood and a part of my family is Japanese, and this make the sadness that I feel even stronger!
But I’m sure that Japan will rise again and will show to the world why this country is so evolutive!
I know that Japan lost many innocent lives, but if this kind of disaster had happened in some other country, we would have million of dead people! I’m proud of Japanese people! Their respect, culture and intelligence, saved million of lives!
