Pedro Senna confirms that he will use the same drumkit equipment DW Collector as Angra's drummer Ricardo Confessori, with a few modifications and he hopes to get the best final result possible. The new CD is to be released in the 2nd half of 2010.

Edu Falaschi "I still can't believe that my great idol passed away! Two days before my birthday, what a "present" of the destiny! Your Lesson will be always with me!
Many thanks to all fans and friends for their love ! You know how much I love you guys and I love this madness called Heavy Metal ! Thousand kisses and hugs !
Thinking that my love for heavy metal began when I bought my first album, "The Last In Line" for my 12th birthday !
It was this : I earned some money from my grandmother, and ran to a record store and asked to the salesman, "Do you have a disk of heavy"?
He looked at me and smiles and said, take this ! I bought it and ran to hear it on the record player of my father, I push the volume and ...
From the first note my future was mapped out ! I heard the most beautiful voice in the world : Ronnie James Dio, the master of masters !
Because of a day like today, my birthday, I'm here with you guys ! Thanks to accompany me in my life ! "
"Last Sunday morning, May 16th, the Heavy Metal lost one of its main icons: the vocalist Ronnie James Dio (Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, DIO, Heaven & Hell). A thousand fans and musicians around the world, from different generations, were completely touched in that day when one of the most symbolic voices of Metal has stopped to sing due to a complicated health treatment of stomach cancer.
Edu Falaschi: “Last Sunday night, May 16th, I was returning from Manaus after having an unforgettable weekend with my band Angra when received one of the saddest notices in my life: Ronnie Dio has left us.
The world has lost the Best Heavy Metal singer of all time but, above all of that, we lost one of the most brilliant souls that already existed! An artist who loved his fans and did what really liked: to sing Heavy Metal!
Dio was my great master, a person who inspired me as an artist and a human being! My only idol has gone! It will be very hard to get over this sad feeling in my heart!
I would like to send my deepest condolences to Dio’s family. That God be with them!
Anyway, his art, music and especially his unique voice will always be in our hearts!
Dio, we will love you forever! Thank you for having been with us! May 16th the saddest day of Rock and Heavy Metal!”
On 14th of May ANGRA successfully played in Manaus, the capital of Amazonas state (Brazil) in front of about 5.000 people. It was another show of Angra's Back To Life tour 2009-2010. More shows will be officially announced soon. Here you can read a part of Edu Falaschi's interview for Manaus Rock official blog :
Manaus Rock : Felipe Andreoli told in the interview for Whiplash that the album has a central conception. Can you tell us anything about it?
Edu Falaschi : I can’t reveal the album’s conception as yet, this is still a secret, but it’s a very cool idea, it has enough to do with the ART theme and I believe that people will like it. It’s..… no, I can’t tell much!
Manaus Rock : In April Kiko Loureiro in the interview for Roadie Crew magazine informed that the band is looking for record deal options and, besides the choice of a record label itself, there is some worry about forms of the release. Is record label already determined and do you have plans to release a special edition?
Edu Falaschi : All is determined for the whole world except Brazil. I believe that it will be released in traditional form. Even with all these problems like piracy, Internet, it’s still worth to launch CD and many people still buy CDs because of their good quality. Thus, let’s release the “physical” disc in Brazil! It will be the 7th official album of the band and it is to be launched between the end of July and the beginning of August.
Manaus Rock : What’s your attitude to social networks? How do you deal with the public in the Internet?
Edu Falaschi : Yes, I always check my networks but honestly speaking, with all this rush with the CD and the time limits I have a person who helps me! But always when I can, I log in and I reply to fans myself, but this person helps me to post the news, some things that should be published fast.
Manaus Rock : What is your preferred Angra’s song?
Edu Falaschi : I don’t have any preferred one, we have many, so it’s impossible to like some definite song. We love them all!
Here the 10th chapter of the Angra's reports from the new album, recorded at Norcal Studios during the 4th week of work, with the second part of the interview of Edu Falaschi !
Here the first and second part of the Edu's interview.
Edu Falaschi : "We thought a lot about the album's concept, all the arrangements, everyone was very careful with everything, and that's why I said that this record is special, because of the care we put into it.Every detail, from the cover to the album title, the name of the song, the lyrics, the concept, taking care that all the lyrics are interconnected, they don't mix with each other, like each one writes about what they want and say "this is about this stuff", the songs are very clear on theme, they talk about. You will realize this when you start to read the lyrics along with the music. It's a record in which we worked hard and it's being done with lots of care and that's why i say that it's probably gonna be one of the band's greatest classic if not the biggest classic.
This time, since we're living new surroundings, both in the personal side inside the band, this cool mood, we also have a relief of starting again all the bureaucratic part. So verything gives us strengh and incentive to make the best, we're also taking it to the tour. So for instance, you will see probably our best tour. Be it in equipment, sound quality, technical quality. We are really tight as a band, everyone of us is at its best.
This record for me is special because this is the one where I'll have the maturity that I need, which I didn't have much in "Rebirth", professionally, I mean. Stage experience and so and nowadays I have it it's been 10 years in Angra , I have lots of stage experience and into music, even more as composer, after composing with these guys, which are great composers, Rafael, Kiko, Felipe we're always learning. Nowadays I'm at my best shape phisically, technically at my vocals and I have all this experience."
"The musicians continue to work at Norcal Studios to finish the production of their seventh studio album which already has a title that will be announced soonest. “Now it is almost done indeed! We are finishing the keyboards, improving some parts and mainly listening carefully everything that we have done until now”, said the vocalist Edu Falaschi.
During the production, the group invited some artists that added such a great quality to the record. “We counted on Zeca - Kiko’s brother, and my beloved brother Tito Falaschi to take part in some tracks. They recorded the backing vocals that touched all of us at the studio, since this album has been created in a very positive atmosphere. We have been working like a family again and we are extremely happy for this”, said the vocalist. “Anna Flavia, from the band Izi, was another guest that took part in the CD. She has her own style for singing which is different from the others Heavy Metal vocalists, and that was exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t want an obvious thing. We tried to reach a unique result. And we did it, you may be sure of that!” said the artist.
The new record is planned to be released in August this year and then the band will announce a world tour. "
"The band Almah, led by the frontman Edu Falaschi and bassist Felipe Andreoli (Angra), is finally coming back for the Brazilian tour of the album "Fragile Equality". This time, the cities of Varginha (MG), Belo Horizonte (MG), Goiania (GO) and Brasília (DF), will receive the band in his last appearances before the release of the new Angra's album. "While Angra is ending its new album, we are scheduling a maximum of dates for Almah, for Fragile equaloty Tour. We are very please to come back on stage to present this album, and those who are interested in dates have just to get in touch with our Press Office", said the bassist Felipe Ansdreoli.
"The singer from the bands Angra and Almah, Edu Falaschi, will be the highlight of Hard £ Heavy Party to be held in Manaus, Amazonas capitale, on next May 15 (Saturday) at Vitrola Music Hall.
The artist will present a repertoire of classics from Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, with the support of the musicians of the band Black Nights. "It will be a great honour to play songs that were part of my education as a musician. I'm sure it will be a big party in celebration of the golden years of Hard / Heavy. Hope to see all the fans from Manaus having fun with us", said the singer.
In parallel, Edu falaschi is ending the new Angra's album, which will be released in August this year."
