Still Alive talks about the production work with Edu Falaschi

Walter Campos, the singer of the band Still Alive, talks about their work with the producer Eduardo Falaschi :



Questions about the album :

How is the production of Still Alive's album going ?

Walter Campos : At the moment, the band finds itself in the end of the pre production.We have finished all the instrumental part of the album. And now we're taking care of the details, like the solos and voice melodies. We've managed to take care of each details of the songs, so that it would be a wonderful material, very well played, and we're also rehearsing all the songs, so that when we get to the studio, probably end of April, beginning of may, we can record the songs at the best quality and fast as possible.


How is it to work with Edu Falaschi ?

Walter Campos : Edu has been a very open minded person, a very professional guy, and he had a major importance for the band, in terms of knowing how to take the talents of each musician, and showing us how we could express ourselves in a better way. So, throught that we could find our identity.


What people can expect from Still Alive's abum ?

Walter Campo : People can expect a truly classic coming out. These are songs that really have a differential, songs that will innovate, the heavy metal scene nowadays, both in terms of compositions, as in terms of voice melodies. I can assure you that this albulm will mark the metal scene.

Edu Falaschi / Almah : Roça'N'Roll 2010

The singer Edu Falaschi, from the bands Angra and Almah, confirmed in an interview with Rodrigo Barbieri, one of the organizers of Roça'N'Roll Fest, that the band Almah will take part in the event and promises an awesome show !

Roça'N'Roll 2010 will be held in next June (12/06/10), at Fazenda Estrela in Varginha / MG (Brazil).

"Angra : Edu and Rafael talks about the 6th video of the serie

Angra is putting the finishing touches on his new album and, in parallel, has released the 6th video of the report about the pre-production of his new album. "Now, it's for real ! Took directly from the studio and showing some of our routine work, in order to all our beloved fans feel part of the Angra's family. One of our most striking albums is almost finished" said the singer Edu Falaschi.

the 6th chapter has been completly shooted at Norcal Studios, showing some extracts from the recordings sessions, and scenes of drummer Ricardo Confessori at work. "This chapter is, I think, the coolest of all those available so far. It shows, quite clearly, as the atmosphere in the studio is propitious for the the birth of great ideas. The result is simply fantastic and I'm sure that our fans will be very proud of this new child", said the guitarist Rafael Bittencourt.

The new Angra's album, still untitled, will be produce by musicians themselves and is expected to be launched in the beginning of June this year."

Edu Falaschi talks about his participation on new Neverland album

MS Metal Press Official note :

"The singer Edu Falaschi, Angra and Almah's member, will be the special guest of the next album of Turkish / Greek band Dreamtone and Iris Mavraki's Neverland. The singer will lend his voice to one of the song from "Ophidia", according to the official statement from the band. "I was very happy with the invitation. Joining the great work of a promising band fills me with joy. Iris Mavraki is an excellent singer, so it will be quite interesting to share vocals with her", said Edu Falaschi.

Dreamstone and Iris Mavraki's Neverland was born in 2007 as a collabration between Turkish band Dreamtone and Greek singer iris Mavraki. Their debut album, "Reversing Time", was released in 2008 with an artistic direction toward symphonic melodic metal with some progressive elements.

Besides Edu Falaschi, "Ophidia" will feature Jon Oliva (Savatage, Jon Oliva's Pain) and Urban breed (ex-Tad Morose, Pyramaze). Its launch is scheduled for March 26th in Europe via AFM Records.

Edu Falaschi : special guest on new Neverland album

Edu Falaschi is one of the special guests of the upcoming Neverland album, Ophidia, which will be released on March 26th (AFM Records).

The band Neverland was formed in 2007 as a collaboration between Turkish rock/metal band Dreamtone and Greek singer Iris Mavraki. The debut album of the band, "Reversing Time" ewas released in 2008 (AFM Records).

Here's the official statement of the band regarding Edu Falaschi's particiaption :



Neverland : "Ophidia's second guest name is from the heart of Brazil. A long career behind with millions of sales and successful tours. Now, Ophidia gets the share from that voice.
