"After a successfull tour through several Brazilian cities, Almah chose Rio De Janeiro for the last show of the “Fragile Equality Tour”. Due to the announce of the Angra’s come back, which will be on tour with Sepultura next month, Almah is unfortunately forced to shorten his tour, having in his line-up the singer Edu Falaschi and the bassist Felipe Andreoli, both Angra’s members.

The expectations about the Almah’s show were hight because the band didn’t come in Rio De Janeiro since 2006. And this year, the line-up was different.
The show began with “Birds Of Prey”, one of the strongest song from “Fragile equality”, which was elected as the best album of 2008 by several medias. Then came “Take Back Your Spell” and “Children Of Lies”, from the first album of the band.
To remember Angra, the band played two songs composed by Edu falaschi – “Bleeding Heart” and “Nova Era”, that the public love so much. It’s important to note that when Angra was in acitivity, many people asked them to play “Bleeding Heart”. Let’s see if the fans will be heard now, with the come back of the band.
The show runs on, the band mixing the songs from his two albums. Almah always amazes us in live by the dialogue on stage, the freedom and technical of his musicians. The guitarists Paulo Schroeber and Marcelo Barbosa have played all in a very similar way of the recording album, which greatly pleased the fans. Both impressed those who have not seen them live yet. The bassist Felipe Andreoli, who always stood out in Angra and in his other projects, seems to be more free in Almah. And the aggressive way of playing of the drummer Marcelo Moreira contributes greatly to the heavy sound shown by the band up here.
It’s important to note that the two powerfull songs “Magic Flame” from the 2nd album, and “King” from the first one, excellent in studio version but even better in live, were two hight points of the show. “Torn” considered by many as the best song from “Fragile Equality”, also had an outstanding performance.
Then, “Forgotten Land”, one of the most beautiful ballad of the band. Besides singing, Edu Falaschi also played keyboards and was very comfortable on stage and made a performance of his best, leaving us all in waiting for review him in May singing the Angra’s standards. He led the show with perfection from the beginning to the end, showing why he is considered as one of the greatest names of metal in Brazil and worldwide.
The band ended the show with “You’ll Understand” which was the first song in listening on the myspace of the band, “Birds Of Prey”, “Fragile Equality” and “Torn”.
For Rio, it was worth the wait. The show exceeded all the expectations.
Waiting for a break in the Angra's schedule to Almah starts to work on his new album and go on tour again. We hope his absence will be not too long because the band will miss to the country’s metal scene."
